Our Memories Are Tomorrow (2008) is an autonomous media art installation about the fragility of memories in a digital age. Over the course of the exhibition, the machine slowly destroys all of the photos in its memory. At the end of the exhibition, no pictures are left.
I had been documenting the "last days of summer" youth of my friends for years. As this period was starting to come to an end, I wanted to create something which would address the temporality of memories in a very concrete way.
