Everyday Vrealities

Everyday Vrealities (2022) is a virtual reality documentary about different kinds of homes and families. You can witness everyday scenes happening in different homes. You can also move freely from home to home. The experience is like an open world game, except that everything around you is real. The film has no traditional narrative or end. Usually viewers tend to watch it for 10-12 minutes.

I had been working on projects about home. I had been especially interested in the everyday, even the mundane, which I see as fascinating and not well documented. I wanted to understand what makes an home, what elements are shared by the many and how homes change from culture to culture.
